Dear Friends and Readers,
Who can resist the warming sunshine and cool breezes that April delivers to our doorsteps? No wonder this month is “Keep America Beautiful” Month, Earth Month, and a fantastic excuse to enjoy as much outdoor time as possible.
Dear Friends and Readers,
“I thought I could make it better” is a line that has been stuck in my head since I read it in Angie Binetti’s interview (p. 29). Angie is one of our seven “Women Creating Change” honorees nominated by readers for this special “Women’s Issue” of Communities Creating Change.
Dear Readers and Friends,
Change does not come easy for most. I’ve always found that a bit odd, since it’s the only constant in life we can really count on. The scary part of change is that “unknowningness” part, which forces us to give up control and surrender to “something” out there that partners with us to make life materialize. But we love change that happens in the exciting form of new beginnings.
Dear Friends and Readers,
‘Tis the season of wants and wishes. Ask any child, What do you want for Christmas? You’re likely to hear a litany of all the presents Santa will bring them on Christmas morning.
