Which is worse: Racial persecution or religious persecution?

No doubt the response to this question is: They’re both bad!

It’s not that simple, though. Sometimes it is worthwhile to make a distinction between the bad and the worse in order to understand the world we live in.

One man’s take on the problem with men.

There are lots of negative stereotypes about lots of minorities. Most of these stereotypes are bunk; a small number possess grains of truth so small you need an electron microscope to see them. But there’s one minority that well deserves a man-sized portion of negative stereotypes. Have no fear, you won’t hear these slurs; this minority has all the power and has had it since humanity crawled out of the cave.

Because this issue of Communities Creating Change is dedicated to success, I’m going to talk about failure. After all, since success is part of the American Dream, and failure one of the darkest corners of the American Nightmare, failure should have at least one lonely voice crying out its praises. So while we toast Success at the start of this New Year, let us save some thoughts for Failure.

Why “Happy Holidays” doesn’t cut it for this religious holiday.

Yes, I said “Merry Christmas,” not “Happy Holidays.” It really is Christmas that’s being celebrated, not Chanukah, not Ramadan, not Chinese New Year, not Diwali, not even Kwanzaa. Christmas is a Christian holiday and this is a Christian country. Get over it.
